Inspired by this method of accentuating beauty and purpose, The Aspecta Olivette Collection of SRP™ TPU Flooring by HMTX Commercial is a spotlight on HMTX Industries’ impact on the future of flooring. The collection is an alchemy of responsible beauty that is designed to transform waste plastic bottles into innovative, circular flooring. Two plastic bottles* are upcycled into each square foot of SRP TPU Flooring and built into a simple chemistry that allows the planks to be upcycled into new flooring post use, while maintaining optimal performance and quality.
SIMPLE CHEMISTRY DESIGNED TO BE CIRCULAR
SRP™ TPU Flooring utilizes a simple chemistry of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to create a new category of resilient flooring for HMTX with a thoughtful blend of performance and sustainability characteristics. These two versatile and exceptionally durable materials provide both confidence in the wear of the present and trust in a manufacturer who is committed to a responsible future. Olivette TPU Flooring’s patent pending construction is designed to be circular – meaning the product can be taken back, ground and reused as a raw material to create new flooring without jeopardizing performance, beauty, or material quality. HMTX is researching and developing multiple solutions to keep flooring out of the landfill. Due to the nature of TPU’s flexibility, the Olivette Collection presents a unique opportunity for re-use and refurbishment. Users will be able to disassemble SRP products for reuse throughout a facility or to send back to HMTX for refurbishment.
TWO FORMATS: Rigid Core & Dryback
The Olivette collection is offered in both an 8.66”x59.45” SRP TPU Rigid Core plank and a 9”x60” TPU Dryback (2.5mm) plank construction – expanding its versatility and impact in the built environment. The rigid click system offers the convenience of easy installation without adhesives: A simple locking mechanism provides a hassle-free, quick, and efficient installation process. With a stable core layer and robust 5.5 mm thickness, durable Olivette in the rigid core format is ideal for high-traffic areas while resisting moisture, scratches, and abrasion. Olivette glue down flooring with robust wear layer is installed directly onto the subfloor using adhesives. With a thickness of 2.5 mm, Bonterra GD550 offers exceptional durability, making it especially suitable for high-traffic areas with heavy rolling loads. A diverse 15 sku range in both formats offers refined design sensibility matched only by its quality and potential impact on the future of flooring. This construction can also be produced in 36” x 18” x 2.5mm tile format.
