NORWALK, CT, March 4, 2021 – David Altman, Vice President of Quality and Product Support of HMTX Industries, announced the promotion of Jay Zurn to the position of Director of Product Support within the company’s STIQ team (Sustainability, Transparency, Innovation and Quality).
Working with HMTX for 2 ½ years in the company’s Calhoun, GA campus, Zurn has painstakingly climbed the ranks with his dedication and commitment to his work, according to Altman. Over the past 16 months as the Manager of the Product Support team, he has shown high performance organizing the day-to-day activities of the department.
Said Altman, “Jay has always shown initiative in the performance of his duties, even going above and beyond what is expected of him, in order to ensure that the team delivers quality internal and external customer service. We expect this same level of dedication and commitment to be applied in his new position as head of the HMTX product support department.”
In addition to his previous roles and responsibilities as Manager of Product Support, as Director Zurn will be more closely involved in the formulation of the product support department’s strategic plans. He will also assume responsibility for leading the evaluations of new products as well as development and final approvals for all application methodologies and technical documentation for HMTX’s Halstead, Metroflor, Aspecta and Vertex towers.
