NORWALK, CT, Aug. 20, 2021Inc. magazine revealed that HMTX Industries has been ranked No. 3603 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small businesses.

As a global manufacturer serving a diverse cross-section of the flooring industry, like many other sectors, HMTX was directly impacted by the pandemic’s unprecedented global repercussions for businesses, noted CEO Harlan Stone. “HMTX is highly reliant upon the global supply chain and during the pandemic this was a real challenge,” he said. “But thanks to nimbleness, creativity and plain old hard work, our team was able to overcome those challenges and help drive our growth as well as meet our customers’ needs in one of the most disruptive periods that any of us has ever seen. I could not be prouder of our HMTX team as we are acknowledged in the prestigious 2021 Inc. 5000 ranking!”
